FOUNDERS
ROMAIN GIRBAL, Co-CEO
Fluent in French, English and Spanish, Romain has cultivated a passion for Africa where he lived for several years. He has a Master's Degree in Finance from HEC Paris Business School, a Master’s Degree in International Business from Juan Carlos III University in Madrid and Master’s Degree in French and Spanish business law from Paris X University. Previously, he worked in structured finance in London for Glencore UK Ltd in the Petroleum and Mining industry before being hired as a Head of Legal at Harvest Energy Ltd, a downstream oil company based in London.
THIBAULT LAUNAY, Co-CEO
Fluent in English and French, Thibault has a Master's Degree in International Finance from Paris Dauphine University, and a BA in Business Administration from Caen University in France. He worked in London for Plus Stock-Exchange (now ICAP), where he was responsible of IPO’s on Junior oil and mining companies. Thibault lived in Africa for a number of years and is passionate about the continent’s social and economic development.
